The third edition of LGMP's FREE Knitting Academy kicks off on Wednesday, November 5. Take the chance to get a super hat and/or something to warm your neck for you or your loved ones. Especially since Christmas is fast approaching, and - as we all know - handmade knitwear is the best gift in the world.
It's a COURSE created for those of you who can't knit yet, but want to make something on your own that you will be proud to wear. For those who want to try their hand at braiding. Even if you have never had needles in your hands before, with my Academy you are destined for success.

10 days of learning together
I will introduce you to the secrets of knitting. Together we will gain knowledge, knit, and face potential difficulties during a LIVE session.
The knitwear you want to wear
In just 10 days, with my help you will learn to knit a hat, shawl, chimney, whichyou will proudlywear or give to a loved one as a Christmas gift.
Support from an experienced knitdesigner
On a daily basis I support in knitting my KnitGang - a community of several thousand people. My YouTube videos have already helped knit simple sweaters, hats, scarves or chimneys for several hundred thousand people.
By participating in LGMP's Virtual Knitting Academy, you will learn:
- choose the best needless and yarn for their knitting,
- acquire stitches, place them properly on the needles and rework them using various methods,
- work with the sample so as to correctly calculate the number of stitches needed to knit your knit.
- knit ribbing, jersey stitch and braid pleats,
- Without "helpers" count the rows,
- read patterns diagrams and work with them,
- distinguish between the right and left sides of the knitting so as not to get lost while knitting,
- Sew the knitted fabric so that the seam is invisible,
- and much, much more!
What will the Academy look like?

The academy will be held in an online format so that you can learn at home, at a pace that suits you. The inaugural webinar will be held on Wednesday, November 5 at 4 p.m. The webinar will be recorded and can also be replayed at a later time.
LIVE sessions on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m.
In the so-called active part of WAD III, we will meet for four LIVE sessions - two Wednesday and two Saturday. During each of them I will discuss new content, show techniques used in hats and shawl chimneys, as well as my original solutions and ways to make knitting a pure pleasure.
Questions and answers
During the Academy, you will have direct contact with me during LIVE sessions. During them , I will answer your questions and help you solve problems that arise.
Video lessons + materials
Each participant of the Academy will get access to my unique files and VIDEO materials. The materials are understandable for almost everyone and show step by step how to knit a HAT with WARS and a SHALOKOMIN.
All materials will be available UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2025! Thanks to this, everyone (even those who don't knit very fast) will have the opportunity to finish their work without the stress of losing support.

Before I started designing knitwear professionally, I worked as a business trainer for several decades. I trained in public speaking, digital competence, sales, personal finance, etc.
Today I am creating the LGMP brand La Gosh My Passion. It's not only almost 150 projects with VIDEO CURSES, but also my own yarns to knit them myself.
LGMP's style has a unique, recognizable character. In the past, when I offered ready-made sweaters for sale, my knitwear was worn by: Dorota Szelągowska, Katarzyna Grochola, Kasia Klich, Dominika Tajner, Karolina Pilarczyk and many others.
Knitting Academy has been created using the skills I have acquired over the years. In the course of it, I will share with you my more than 45 years of experience in knitting and knitwear design.

Materials you will need to participate in the Academy
In order to participate in the Academy, you will need a "starter package" containing the appropriate wires, and yarn. I invite you to buy them in my store 🙂

Participation in the THIRD edition of the LGMP Virtual Knitting Academy is completely free. However, watching the instructional videos will involve watching commercials. I will also be obliged to purchase work materials from my interent store
You will receive all pdf files to the email address you provided. So make sure that when you sign up, you provide a valid address that you have current access to AND ENDURANCE YOUR SIGN UP by clicking on the sign up confirmation link that will come in the first email (without a sign up confirmation, you will not receive any more emails). I suggest setting up a mailbox at gmail.com domain.
Start by checking all the folders in your mailbox, especially the SPAM, OFFERS, NEWSLETTERS folder. You can also type in the box with the "magnifying glass" of your mailbox the address: info@lgmp.pl - you will be shown all messages from me. If you are sure that you have not received any message from me, please send me an email to info@lgmp.pl. Definitely! The Academy was created mainly for such people who have very little or no experience in knitting. So even if you are not yet able to acquire stitches, rework stitches right and left, I guarantee that with me you will quickly learn it. That and much, much more.
If you have knitted more complex knits from my collection, you are unlikely to learn much new in this course. But if this is your first encounter with me, you're likely to discover many useful knitting techniques and methods, even if you've been knitting for many years.
How much time you spend knitting and learning during these 10 days is entirely up to you. All Academy materials will be available until December 31, 2025. However, I recommend that you stay tuned and at least start creating the suggestions I have prepared. This way you will be able to benefit from my direct assistance during the LIVE sessions. And if the pace gets too fast, you can always finish your work after the course. No materials will be available after December 31.
This is largely up to you. If you rework the supplied materials on a regular basis, during max. 2-4 weeks you should manage to knit both a hat (not even one) and a shawl chimney.
