ALPHA SWEATER KNITTING COURSE

ALPHA SWEATER KNITTING COURSE

MISSION: YOUR FIRST SWEATER

If you've dreamed of knitting your own sweater, but it always seemed too difficult, YOU ARE IN THE GOOD PLACE. The sweater, codenamed ALFA, is an introduction to a separate COURSE - LGMP's VIRTUAL ACADEMY OF KNITTING, MISSION "FIRST SWEET"(important - it IS NOT part of it), which will appear soon. When you buy this set of files, you will receive a special discount on the purchase of the entire course, with unlimited online access. The discount code will be sent to you at the email address you provided in your order, after the publication of WAD.

The COURSE has been prepared so that any BASIC person can handle knitting a sweater. ALFA is made from the bottom to the top, stitched, sleeves are knit from the top to the bottom. In the description of workmanship 9 widths of the sweater are dissected. The prototypes were knitted with double thread, combined yarns GLISSY and GURTHA.

In order to make the process of knitting your first sweater completely stress-free and without any problems, in addition to a PDF file with a detailed description of the making and fragments of diagrams, I have prepared a THREE-part VIDEO COURSE. Containing detailed lessons that will make your work light, easy and fun, and make each stage of knitting child's play!

In the following parts of the VIDEO COURSE you will find:

  1. ALFA1 - SYMBOLS INTRODUCTION - two ways of acquiring stitches, detailed explanation of the differences between right and left stitches, worked in different techniques (whether you knit with continental, classic or other technique, you will easily make this sweater with me). In addition, you will find a thorough discussion of all the symbols used in the diagrams and in the description, the technique of knitting 2P, 2L and 1P, 1L pulls with showing the differences
  2. ALFA2 - CORPUS - the beginning of the sweater (back as well as front), how to count rows in a knit, technique for making a neckline, ways to close right stitches on the shoulders, how to stitch the front to the back on closed stitches , how to get stitches on the sleeves with the calculation of where to tie the yarn from the ball, how to minimize stitches on the welts, techniques for closing stitches at the welts 1P, 1L,
  3. ALFA3 - END and DECOLVE - the technique of stitching the sides and bottom edge of the sleeve with parallel (mattress) stitching, scooping stitches onto the pleat crowning the neckline, how to repair mistaken stitches without ripping, closing pleat stitches , organizing the work.REMEMBER! You can download the files of this course within 365 days of purchase. Once you save them in a safe place, you can use them while off-line until the end of the world:)

    Pattern details

    Details

OneSize (but you can knit any) photos show sweaters in the given dimensions BEFORE WASHING, on a person 167 cm tall, weighing about 68 kg.

  • length - about 57/58cm
  • width - about 68-69 cm
  • Sleeve length - about 43 cm / from the base of the neck about 68 cm
  • Widths when changing sizes: 59-60 cm/62-63 cm/65-66 cm/71-72 cm/74-75 cm, etc. Each change of 4 stitches is about 3 cm difference in width.
  • YARNS - to knit a sweater in a size like the "academic" prototypes, you will need 4 (5) skeins of GLISSY yarn and 5(6) skeins of GURTHA yarn. If you want to reduce the size, you will still need a total of 9 skeins (4+5), for the enlarged size you will need 1 skein more each, so a total of 11 skeins (5+6). The prototypes were knitted from: CAMEL - GUTHA 02 wheat and GLISSY 03 camel, YELLOW - GURTHA 10 yellow and GLISSY 08 yellow.
  • DRUTY – do dziergania druty w rozmiarze 6 mm (lub 5-5,5 mm, jeżeli masz tendencję do luźnego przerabiania oczek, 7 mm, jeżeli masz tendencję do ciasnego przerabiania oczek).

  • ADDITIONAL TOOLS - needle (I recommend the metal JOHN JAMES, from my store - you buy a set of two, with a sharp or blunt end and you have for life, scissors, a tailor's or builder's tape measure, possibly two needles stoppers
  • Optional DIY LGMP collection stamp or any other patch
  • GLISSY - 4, GURTHA - 5

    Frequently asked questions

An email containing download links is sent automatically, as soon as you place your order and make the payment using PayPal or Przelewy24. If you don't find it in your email inbox after a few minutes, check your SPAM, NOTIFICATIONS, OFFERS folders and - if it's not there either - be sure to contact me by E-MAIL, sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl. Remember to include your order number. If you bought the Pattern as a logged-in user, you can download the files directly from your account.

The most common reason is an error in the email address you entered when you placed your order. Since neither a phone number nor a home address is required when purchasing a digital product, I have no other way to contact you. I can only wait for contact from your side. Therefore, if you have not received an email with access to the files within several minutes after placing your order, first check the SPAM, NOTIFICATIONS, OFFERS folders and - if it is not there either - contact me by E-MAIL, sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl.

Since the sale of digital products such as Patterns and e-books takes place on a continuous basis (24 hours a day and 7 days a week) they can be paid ONLY via PayPal (which also supports credit and debit cards) and PRZELEWY24. In exceptional cases, it is possible to pay by traditional bank transfer/postal money order or online transfer, but each time it requires individual arrangements. So if for some reason you cannot use PayPal/Przelewy24 payment, please contact me by E-MAIL, sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl. You will receive a return email with instructions on how to perform this type of operation.

When you buy a Pattern you are buying a set of files, not online access. Each file has a finite number of downloads, set so that you can save them to several of your devices. Therefore, after downloading, DEFINITELY save the files to a drive on your computer/tablet, external drive or phone.

If for some reason you are unable to download the files, be sure to contact me by MAIL by sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl. Remember to include your order number and the name of the Pattern.
You will receive a fallback link from which you will be able to download the files.
Using the fallback link, do not forget to immediately download and save the files to disk. This is important, due to the several-day shelf life of such links.
Sometimes the problem with downloading files is due to insufficient memory on your computer/tablet/phone. So make sure you have enough of it. Using a different web browser can also help.
