BRAVO BLOUSE KNITTING CLASS

BRAVO BLOUSE KNITTING CLASS

IT IMPRESSES WITH ITS SIMPLICITY

A lot of people have been waiting for this blazer. And now, finally, it’s here. Anyone with basic knitting skills can make it. Although the difficulty level has been rated as intermediate due to the sleeves and the pleat construction, even determined beginners who are committed to reaching their goal will have no trouble mastering it.  BRAVO is knitted from the bottom up, sewn together, and the sleeves are knitted from the top down. The pattern includes instructions for 6 sweater widths; however, with my tips, you’ll have no trouble knitting almost any size you need. The prototypes were knitted using two strands of PINO yarn.

To make sure the knitting process is completely stress-free and goes smoothly, in addition to a PDF file withdetailed instructions and diagrams, I’ve prepared FOUR parts of a VIDEO COURSE. They include detailed lessons that will make your work effortless, easy, and enjoyable, and every step of the knitting process will be a breeze!

In the following parts of the VIDEO COURSE you will find:

  1. BRAVO1 – SYMBOLS INTRODUCTION – detailed explanations of the differences between knit and purl stitches worked using various techniques (whether you knit using the continental, classic, or any other method, you’ll easily be able to make this sweater with me), a thorough explanation of all symbols used in the charts and instructions, techniques for knitting 2P, 2L, and 1P, 1L ribbing with a demonstration of the differences, and three techniques for binding off stitches in 1P and 1L ribbing.
  2. BRAVO2 – BODY – the beginning of the sweater (back and fronts), how to count rows in knitted fabric, the technique for shaping the neckline and armholes, methods for binding off stitches knit stitches on the shoulders, how to join yarn of a different color when knitting the right front, how to weave in the ends left over after joining the yarn of a different color.
  3. BRAVO3 – SHOULDERS, PLEATS – stitching stitches on the shoulders, attaching pleats, two techniques for joining/stitching pleats (on open and closed loops).
  4. BRAVO4 – SLEEVES AND FINISHING – how to cast on stitches for sleeves, including calculating where to join the yarn from the skein; how to count rows in sleeves; how to minimize stitches for ribbing; the technique for binding off stitches at a 1P rib, 1L mimicking the stitches needle-closing method, the technique for sewing the sides and bottom edge of the sleeve with a parallel (mattress) stitch, and organizing your work.REMEMBER! Pattern details

    Details

OneSize (but you can knit any) photos show sweaters in the given dimensions BEFORE WASHING, on a person 167 cm tall, weighing about 68 kg.
  • Length – approx. 81 cm (short) / approx. 121 cm (long)
  • width - about 66-67 cm
  • sleeve length – approx. 60 cm / from the base of the neck, approx. 69 cm
  • Widths when resizing: approx. 50–62 cm / approx. 63–65 cm / approx. 69–70 cm / approx. 72–73 cm, etc. Each change within the range of 4 stitches corresponds to an approximate 3 cm difference in width.
  • YARN – to knit a sweater in the size of one of the prototypes, you will need: – for the hip-length version, approx. 2 x 1025 rmt yarn – 13 skeins of PINO yarn (ATTENTION! You knit with a double thread) – for the long version (three-color) approx. 2 x 1370 rmt Yarn – 17 skeins of PINO yarn. To knit the sweater in three colors, I used 18 skeins of PINO yarn – 8 skeins in orange, 7 skeins in burgundy, 3 skeins in green, – for the long version (single color) – approx. 2 x approx. 1050 rmt (total 2100) – 10-11 skeins of GLISSY yarn (ATTENTION! You are knitting with a double thread) You can use another yarn, but remember that it must meet the parameters of the sample, i.e. it should be intended for 6 mm needles, and when knitting the sample with stockinette stitch, with approx. 13 stitches and approximately 17 rows should give a dimension of 10 x 10 cm. REMEMBER! The larger the sample, the more reliable the measurement will be!
  • KNITTING NEEDLES – knitting needles in size 6-6.5 mm (or 5-5.5 mm if you tend to knit loosely) stitches , 7 mm if you tend to work tight stitches ). If you're buying needles FOR CABLE, not WITH CABLE, don't forget to buy a cord, as the knitting thread will be used without cord. The most versatile cord is the 80 cm one—it's perfect for knitting most LGMP course projects.
  • ADDITIONAL TOOLS – a needle (I recommend the metal JOHN JAMES needle from my store—you buy a set of two, with one sharp and one blunt tip, and they’ll last you a lifetime), scissors, TWO large SAFETY PINS, and a tailor’s or construction tape measure.
  • Optionally, a patch from the LGMP DIY collection or any other patch.
  • PINO – 13/18

    Frequently asked questions

An email containing download links is sent automatically, as soon as you place your order and make the payment using PayPal or Przelewy24. If you don't find it in your email inbox after a few minutes, check your SPAM, NOTIFICATIONS, OFFERS folders and - if it's not there either - be sure to contact me by E-MAIL, sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl. Remember to include your order number. If you bought the Pattern as a logged-in user, you can download the files directly from your account.

The most common reason is an error in the email address you entered when you placed your order. Since neither a phone number nor a home address is required when purchasing a digital product, I have no other way to contact you. I can only wait for contact from your side. Therefore, if you have not received an email with access to the files within several minutes after placing your order, first check the SPAM, NOTIFICATIONS, OFFERS folders and - if it is not there either - contact me by E-MAIL, sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl.

Since the sale of digital products such as Patterns and e-books takes place on a continuous basis (24 hours a day and 7 days a week) they can be paid ONLY via PayPal (which also supports credit and debit cards) and PRZELEWY24. In exceptional cases, it is possible to pay by traditional bank transfer/postal money order or online transfer, but each time it requires individual arrangements. So if for some reason you cannot use PayPal/Przelewy24 payment, please contact me by E-MAIL, sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl. You will receive a return email with instructions on how to perform this type of operation.

When you buy a Pattern you are buying a set of files, not online access. Each file has a finite number of downloads, set so that you can save them to several of your devices. Therefore, after downloading, DEFINITELY save the files to a drive on your computer/tablet, external drive or phone.

If for some reason you are unable to download the files, be sure to contact me by MAIL by sending a message to: info@lgmp.pl. Remember to include your order number and the name of the Pattern.
You will receive a fallback link from which you will be able to download the files.
Using the fallback link, do not forget to immediately download and save the files to disk. This is important, due to the several-day shelf life of such links.
Sometimes the problem with downloading files is due to insufficient memory on your computer/tablet/phone. So make sure you have enough of it. Using a different web browser can also help.
