FUVA is not only another GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD (GRS) certified yarn on the Polish market , but also RESPONSIBLE WOOL STANDARD (RWS) and RESPONSIBLE ALPACA STANDARD (RAS) certified yarn.
It is an expression of concern for animals, the planet and the environment in which we live. It ensures that our passion for knitting gives us not only the joy of handmade knits, but also the satisfaction of pro-environmental and pro-animal responsibility.
Fluffy and extremely lightweight (thanks to AIR SOFT technology), with characteristic alpaca pile.
Wonderfully suitable for women's and men's knitwear.
To knit a simple sweater in size M/L
you will need 8-9 skeins of FUVA yarn.
Recommended hand washing at temperatures NOT exceeding 30 degrees C.
Composition:
35% RWS-certified merino wool,
18% RAS-certified alpaca,
47% GRS-certified recycled polyamide
50 g skein - approx. 110 rmt /120 yds
Recommended size needles - EU 5-6/US 8-10
The size of the sample knitted with jersey stitch, needles No. 6 -.
15 stitches and 18 rows yields a size of about 10 x 10 cm

- GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD certification, which specifies the requirements for certification of recycled fibers. The goal of the GRS program is to increase the use of recycled materials while taking care of the environment, social conditions, or control of the chemicals used that are safe for humans and the environment

- RESPONSIBLE WOOL STANDARD and RESPONSIBLE ALPACA STANDARD certifications, which address the welfare of sheep and alpacas and the management of the land on which they graze.
They focus on modern land and livestock management, ensuring that wool is produced responsibly, with respect for the integrity of the environment and in accordance with the five freedoms of animal welfare.
These consist of:
